Acrylic on Masonite board (7-1/2 inches X 12 inches)
This is a picture that I was working on earlier this year, before I stopped painting again. Most of you who know me, know that I do not believe in anything supernatural. This is just an odd coincidence.
I have recently been communicating with a brother of mine, Robert, that I have been out of contact with for about 21 years now. I was unaware that he has now had two bouts with cancer. One nearly killing him, but he's managed to work his way past it. Good job Robert. And I am very thankful that he has. I've been reading things that he has written on line, and found us to be of strikingly like mind. Except, he is WAY smarter than I am. (that's not saying much, sorry for the insult Robert. lol)
Anyway, he has been talking to me about my art work, and kinda rekindled my interest in it. So I started going through the last paintings I was working on, and found this one. Seemed like a good time to post it. The title written on the back was "Cancer".
There is no way to measure an artist, or their work, because nothing matters, but their vision. Their acceptance by the rest of the world is merely external.
