An optical illusion? Clever! The candle holder's odd...but it all adds to tre picture. Good work!

Thank you very much.

There is no way to measure an artist, or their work, because nothing matters, but their vision. Their acceptance by the rest of the world is merely external.

Again, I love your shade work...especially
for the curved tentacle's and smoke.

How long does it take you to do a piece
like this?

Thank you very much.

It takes me much longer now than it did then. LOL But I'd say this one probably took 3-4 hours after the initial idea was sketched out.

OMG!

I picked up my pencil today and started on an idea that's been in my head.
I've spent at least 4 hrs off and on with it and I'm no where near done.
But to be honest I guess about 3 hours of it is just erasing:laughing:

I think the eraser is the most important tool. Someone who doesn't erase, isn't really drawing.

Ideas come much slower for me. I'll work on an idea sometimes for days. (off and on you know) then finishing them up is the easy part. I couldn't even begin to tell how long the idea takes. Sometimes instant, sometimes it just grows slow, like grass.
