Oil on masonite (6-3/4" x 11")
This is another older work of mine, and a little more fairy tail like than my usual works. I have no idea when I did it, but I'm pretty sure it's pre-2000. I never finished glazing it in color, and I probably won't, but I've always kinda liked it, so here it is. Normally, I paint on the smooth side of masonite, but if you look close, you can see the cloth-like texture. I gave it several coats of primer, to fill in some of the weave, so that it wouldn't be too rough to paint on. |
