Oil on masonite panel. (23 x 15 inches)

About a 3 hour painting. Done today after work. Another one done to loosen up a bit.

I like how it seems like a sketch of impressions you might get from real things at the park, the echoes of the real. I don't think I am so keen as I am on your more crafted pieces; though I find its energy interesting - like a still life of things that are moving. Does that even make sense? It seems like a tableau, frozen.

Makes perfect sense to me. And thank you again. Insightful as usual. When a painting isn't going how I'd like it to, I don't tend to polish them up as much.

This feels to me very much like some sort of Blade Runner-type underground backstreet. Except more dreamlike.

i can totally see this scene in real-life, love the way it's expressed here, with the strong colors and loose strokes

Nice color choices and I still cannot get over how well your loosen up works turn out. When I first saw the thumbnail I thought that guy was riding a safety pin!
